urinary tract infection
Can a guy transfer a Urinary Tract Infection to a woman when having sex?
No. However, sex can cause a UTI whether the guy has one or not. Sex pushes bacteria into both people’s urethras. Men clean them out when they orgasm because they ejaculate. Women should pee after sex to clean themselves out.

urinary tract infection
According to our plan I wanted to be conceived after 6 months of my marriage. Everything was going well but last month I diagnosed as having Urinary Tract Infection and due to that I suffered from fever ten days. This infection again revived now.
Please tell me is it the right time to plan for a baby.
I am 30 years old please suggest other precaution that should be taken for planning for the baby.
When planning for a baby I don’t think it would matter if you had a bladder infection. I am speaking as a mother of four but a sister of someone who took alot of planning and trying along with three losses along the way to having a baby . If you want my advise take your time and do less planning . Just enjoy practiceing making a baby and it should all come about naturaly. Sometimes in life we don’t get to plan everything .If the time is right with your body it will happen and if its not it won’t. Good luck in your journey

urinary tract infection
[[in a female]]
well, i didn’t really know that i had a urinary tract infection until saturday.
i have been feeling pains, nausea, my pee is really dark and i have to go the bathroom a lot as well. i have been feeling all this for about 2 weeks now. when do you think it will reach my kidneys?
A urinary tract infection DOES involve the kidneys, ureters and bladder. The kidneys is what makes urine, which is then stored in the bladder. If you’ve had it for 2 weeks, why haven’t you gone to the Dr? An antibiotic is what you need. Get to the Doctor.

urinary tract infection
I have my annual checkup with the gynecologist in 3 days, but recently talking to a friend, it appears I have several syptoms of having a urinary tract infection. Should I just wait and tell the doctor in 3 days, or call someone sooner?
The best thing to do would be to call your primary care Dr or your gyn and see if they can get you in before then. The longer it goes untreated the more uncomfortable you will be and it may worsen. If they cant squeeze you in you could try a med center or urgent care facility. If you cant be seen by anyone there are a few things that will help ease some of your symptoms. Drink lots of water and try some cranberry juice. There is a medicine called AZO Cranberry that you can get from the pharmacy.
Here is the product website if you want more info on it.

urinary tract infection
I got a urinary tract infection for the first time in my life. The same day I found out I asked my husband had he been cheating on me and he told me yes. He also told me the girl he had been with only had oral sex with him and they never had vaginal intercourse. Is it possible for me get this infection if she had oral sex with him and right after he came home and had sex with me?
Probably not, UTIs are due to opportunistic infection by bacteria that are usually present normally. She probably didn't give your husband any bacteria that he didn't have already. I doubt that your infection is due to any bacteria that he transmitted to you, either, because usually it's caused by bacteria already present on your skin.
Sex can trigger UTIs from friction introducing skin bacteria into the urethra, but after that it takes them a while to multiply, so the initial invasion of bacteria probably took place a day or so before.

urinary tract infection
Well I have had a what i think to be a urinary tract infections off and on fro the last 6 months. When i take the medicine for it they go away, but my mom thinks i have a std. would urinary tract infection medicine get rid of std symptoms?
no, typically, STD antibiotics cover for the bugs causing simple UTI's so if you were diagnosed and treated for a STD, you would be covered for the UTI too, see a doctor for these symptoms and for further evaluation, good luck

urinary tract infection
Please help! I am 20 and live on my own right now with a part time job that dosen't even cover my bills so I can't afford to go to the doctor but for the last week Ive had every sign of a urinary tract infection AND a kidney infection. Does anyone have any at home remedy suggestions or things that will at least make me more comfortable so Im not in so much pain? I will appreciate any suggestion
Chamomile tea is believed to cure infections, so drink at least 3 cups of tea at room temperature or if you prefer drink it with ice. It should help relieve the pain and if you have a fever it will help you with that too. I have used this home remedy before and it sure works, so try it out. The first cup that you drink will do the trick, but like I said drink 3 cups for a period of approximately 3 days…you'll be fine! Take care.
