how do u get rid of an uti? Antibiotics are the ONLY sure-fire way to get rid of a UTI. Drink plenty of water and make an appointment with your doctor ASAP. The longer it goes untreated, the more involved it will become and the harder it will be to get rid of.

Antibiotics aren't absolutely necessary unless you are having a horrible UTI. I get them from time to time never use an antibiotic, because I simply don't like to go on lots of those.
