if you have oral sex, can you give your partner a urinary track infection?if so what causes it.

That depends on the germs in the person’s mouth. The urinary tract is a warm, dark, moist environment which germs like but it is also highly acidic place (due to the urine) which most germs don’t like. So, yes, you could but it is highly unlikely. Better to play it safe though. The human mouth is a very germy place unless you have just brushed your teeth and gargled with mouth wash. With in seven to ten minutes after brushing your teeth and gargling with mouth wash a humans mouth is just as germy as before.

Drink cranberry juice and take AZO. Also, if you go to GNC, look in the vitamin section and on the label they will say things like "helps build immunity" and "cleanses urinary tract". Look for those vitamins.

i’m 32 weeks pregnant and i found out 5 days ago that i have a urinary track infection caused by group b strep. i have been taking anitbiotics for the past 5 days now and was wondering if it is safe to take a bath? I jut really need to relax. Thanks.

so long as your membranes are intact, it’s fine. just don’t make the water too hot! your infection is probably cleared up for the most part by now though, so i don’t think you should worry.

i’e had more then one urinary track infection befor will it come back everytime i have sex or is there something that the doctors can do to make it stop an not come back after sex cuz these yhings dont feel good please help!

It may not be a urinary tract infection at all but may be something more serious. I am surprised that she would even be interested in sex when this infection is present…Just wait it out untill she has completed her antibiotics..
If it keeps happening she should see a specialist. I has suffering from the same thing and I just come to find out that I have a fybroid tumor on my bladder…
Also be sure you both are educated on the how and why that brings on the infection and ways to prevent it….

i really don't want my mom to know that i am having sex with my boyfriend, i have been talking to my friend that you can get a urinary track infection from having sex in a dusty or dirty place. im pretty sure that im not but if i have a UTI will my mom find out that i am having sex with him or can it be cause by something else?

You can get a UTI or bladder infection other ways. I advise that you talk to your mom about your symptoms and take you to your family doctor. But, if you do not want to even ask your mom to take you to the doctor, you can always drink cranberry juice. The cranberries turn your urine into a more acidic environment, thus helping to kill the bacteria that is causing the infection. That is only if you have an UTI and not anything else.

I highly advise you to see a doctor though!

You should be either drinking unsweetened cranberry juice or taking two capsules of the freezer dried cranberry capsules. Also, if you add probiotics to your daily regime of supplements it can help out tremendously with UTI's. The vet clinic was very busy today! I have waited like 1 and a half hour before Alera’s turn. While I was there, I have taken some photos of the newly reconstructed kennel area as per request by the doc. There is one room with air-con, the luxury one; and all the kennels are monitor by CCTV, pretty cool. The attached photos is just one of the kennels

Let’s come back to Alera. Today will be his last day of antibiotic injection as the doc said he might not need it anymore since there is not infection on the wound. The wound healed up very good to0!

how do u get rid of an uti?

Antibiotics are the ONLY sure-fire way to get rid of a UTI. Drink plenty of water and make an appointment with your doctor ASAP. The longer it goes untreated, the more involved it will become and the harder it will be to get rid of.
