You could be having blood in your urine so it looks like spotting. In some cases, a symptom of UTI is leaking or loss of bladder control, that could be what the "spotting" is from. I hope you're on anti-biotics I know how awful a UTI is!

I would strongly suggest you see a doctor. If there's blood in your urine from a UTI – it could be a bladder infection which is much harder to treat.

Or — you could be pregnant?

See a doctor soon though. Don't wait.

Well, techinically speaking spotting would be blood coming from your vagina (which would more likely be a yeast infection). However, with a urinary tract infection you can have a little "pink pee" going on, which is blood in your urine.
Your UTI may be getting worse and turning into a yeast infection, too….so wlovever the case, get some medical attention to clear it up.
    Hope this helps!
