PLease help im scared I have a urinary track infection now I feel chills and A sorethroat does this mean the?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: urinary track infection

infection is going to my kidneys? Is it normal to have the chills and A sore throat? I am taking antibotics I saw the dr, tuesday last week.

Chills means a fever.
Yes this is common with severe UTI's and kidney infections.

But not a sore throat. This is most likely a coincidence.

It's seems from what you are saying that the UTI is getting worse even with treatment, so you need to return to your Doctor for different or more aggressive treatment.

I DON'T THINK SO, JUST FOLLOW YOUR DR'S PLAN. THOSE TYPE OF PROBLEMS A RECURRENT AND THEY TAKE A WHILE TO CLEAR UP. DRINK A GLASS OF A CRANBERRY JUICE. IT HAS BEEN PROVEN TO HELP UTI. GOOD LUCK

a pain in the lower back is the area of the kidneys
the throat is not part of the urinary track as I know it

My mother had a UTI, didn't get it taken care of, and then got a kidney infection. I love to say, but chills was the major thing she felt at the beginning.

A sore throat doesn't indicate a kidney infection. I suffer from then chronically, You lower back will hurt if it's in your kidneys.

If it gets really severe you might have double vision, blacking out, fainting, inability to write, walk or stand, really high fever, dark urine, vomiting and inner ear problems.

    I deal with them about 4 times a year…

I've never gotten a sore throat while having a kidney infection. I'm sure you just have a cold, or flu along with your UTI and if you are on Anti biotics I doubt it will tavel to your kidneys.
