Water water and more water. If it doesn’t clear up in a few days call a Dr.

Jump up and down. Does it hurt? Or try standing on a stair or two and jumping down. Does it hurt? If it does its a kidney infection. UTI hurt but mostly when you pee. Try cranberry juice at first signs of a UTI. Headaches wouldn’t be related, just the wrong head. :S Either way, you should resort to seeing your doctor to have it taken care of.

The pain from uti is in the front belly and the pain from kidney is in the lower back to the side of you. You can have stong urine from either. Drink tons of water when you first start noticing this and it will usually go away. Lot’s of water! Go get some now and start! (LOL, but true)

UTI and kidney infections can have the same symptoms. UTI mostly are caused from, excuse me for saying this, but, feces getting into the urinary tract so be careful with how you "wipe", if you know what I mean, always front to back. Kidney infections can be caused for different reasons. You really should have the doctor test you to see which one you have since both are treated with antibiotics and the dr. will need to know what you have to treat it. A strong odor and cloudy could mean you are not getting enough water, yes!! water!!! Drink water. Headaches could mean you have some kind of infection going on, but again, you should be checked by your dr. to determine the source of the headaches. Never try to self-diagnos!!!! And, get to that dr!!!

If it were a bladder infection, you most likely would have pain in this area. A kidney infection almost always causes lower back pain and great fatigue. Have you had your blood pressure checked recently? Hypertension can cause headaches and because it can affect the kidneys, may cause protein to pass in the urine, giving it a cloudy appearance.
