I don’t like using antibiotics excessively either. The medical establishment has been creating antibiotic resistant viruses by using too much antibiotics and I don’t want to contribute to it, when not necessary.

I have treated my own UTI using drinking lots of water, taking cranberry juice capsules, and removing sugar from my diet. I lost the symptoms in the first day or so and kept up with the no-sugar diet for two weeks to clean my system out. My last UTI was over 3 years ago. I have not had recurrences. I also take cranberry capsules regularly now.

Cleartract juice, and anything that will make your urine more acidic. From now on, make sure you urinate after sex, try to wear cotton underwear and wipe from front to back.

UTI's can become very serious if left untreated. Drinking a lot of water can help keep some of the discomfort at bay: if your bladder is full the bladder spasms are not as bad. Antibiotics are the only way to actually cure the infection. If you don't treat it your infection can become systemic, infecting your whole body, including your blood. This actually can be life threatening. Please see a doctor and get treated!!

It depends on if you actually have a UTI or just some irritation. I used to get UTI's frequently till my Dr. told me to drink cranberry juice more often & lots of water. However he also told me whenever I start to think I am having a problem to drink 1-2 Tbs of white vinegar 2-3 times a day for 2 days & lots of water. This has actually helped me in the past. It's gross though. have your water chaser ready!

I get them atleast once a year..I know when one is coming when i pee all the time. I start drinking cranberry juice, it doesnt taste the best but i drink it. I had one that I didnt treat in time and it went to my kidneys, it was the worst. I couldnt even stand up straight..go to the Dr as soon as you can so this doesnt happen to you.

Don’t risk it. or risk a serious kidney infection.

here are some things you can do to prevent from getting another one.

Urinary Tract Infection Prevention:
* Keep your genital area clean.
* Wipe from front to back.
* Drink plenty of fluids.
* Urinate after sexual intercourse.
* Avoid fluids that irritate the bladder, like alcohol, citrus juices, and caffeine.
* Drink cranberry juice, but NOT if you have a personal or family history of kidney stones.
* DO NOT douche or use similar feminine hygiene products.
* Wear cloth undergarments.

If you are prone to UTIs, For example, taking them after sexual intercourse or even every day.

Pure cranberry juice and lots of it, there are also cranberry extract capsules if you do not like juice.
