It may not be a urinary tract infection at all but may be something more serious. I am surprised that she would even be interested in sex when this infection is present…Just wait it out untill she has completed her antibiotics..
If it keeps happening she should see a specialist. I has suffering from the same thing and I just come to find out that I have a fybroid tumor on my bladder…
Also be sure you both are educated on the how and why that brings on the infection and ways to prevent it…. References :

She needs a break, do it some other times. No men usually don't catch UTIs, but you can catch the fever, even if you wear a condom.
