Attention Ladies, this is Suzi, many people have been writing in asking what the stuff was that I used to clear up my UTI last week, so I wanted to put the link to this stuff here
It is called CT - DM
drink lots of cranberry juice and water.

Start drinking cranberry juice and lots of water. If you start getting a fever, call your doctor and see if he/she can see you tomorrow.

Stick with water, and cranberry juice unsweetened. No caffeine or chocolate. Go easy on the animal bi products and bread. After that, theres not much you can do until you see the doc, he/she will give you some antibiotics to knock out the infection. To speed things up though, continue with the regimen I described.

You can get a product called Azo; it's a urinary tract ansethetic (it's over the counter Pyridium in a lesser dose).
Drink cranberry juice and lots of water.

Lots of cranberry and/or pomegranate juice.
Blueberries are good too. Take aspirin/ibuprofen for pain, but go to the emergency room if you get a high fever.
Hope you get better soon!

There is an over the counter homeopathic medicine for urinary tract infections that might help. Go to the pharmacy and look for it near the Yeast Infection aids.

Personal experience
Go to the drug store and get some Azo-Standard Pills. They are sold over the counter. I use to always suffer from that, and I tell you the are the best thing for that. Buy the regular ones. The have them in cranberry, but the regular ones are the best.. They work right away until you can see the doctor, at least you can sleep not feeling the syn toms. Garlic is really good too. The pills work wayyyy faster. Yes Cleartract Juice is good, but you need to take a lot of it in order to go away, and sometimes when you drink too much, you start to feel sick in your stomach. You take the juice when your ok and it can prevent it from coming back. Take my advise, I remember how bad I use to get it. It was so bad, that sometimes I would bleed, throw up, and even get a fever. I was always in the hospital for this. One day this lady at the laundry mat told me about the Azo- Standard, and, It's been years I no longer suffer from urinary track infections.. You need to take about 2 glasses of water, you will pee red.. You will be fine……..
Good luck.

If you have tried water, cranberry juice and it has not helped it then go to see your doctor, he will have you do a urine test and find out what kind of medication you need to clear it up. This is not anything to second guess or to play with. If you can not see your doctor go to the emergency room or a clinic. Good Luck and get well.

Drink 100% Cleartract juice (not juice cocktail) and lots of water. Diluted urine is easier on the urinary tract, and less painful as it leaves the body. Cranberries contain an ingredient that keeps bacteria from sticking to the bladder wall. You can also take three capsules of cranberry extract (available as a product called Cran-Actrin, daily. Lactobacillus acidophilus or bifidus maintains and restores beneficial flora in the digestive and urinary tracts. This treatment is more for preventive than curative, but it is particularly helpful when taking antibiotics (to prevent a yeast infection), and to help prevent recurrences. Lactobacillus acidophilus comes in capsule form or by eating yogurt that has this culture in it (look on the label of most yogurts). Garlic is a natural antibiotic that will help to destroy intestinal bacteria that cause a UTI. Choose an odorless capsule form and take one to three capsules a day. Also an echinacea and goldenseal combination formula is antibacterial and soothes mucous membranes, one dose, three times a day, for up to five days. I hope this helps and has given you enough different things you can do as well as preventive measures to keep recurrences at bay. Good Luck.

I also have had my share of UTI and now make sure I do not allow for any recurrences.
