What is a urinary track infection? And how do you get it?

Just wondering.

This happens when bacteria gets into the urethra. The urethra is where urine is discharged from. Wiping from front to back, which you learn when you are young, and urinating within an hour after sex are great ways to prevent them. If you feel one coming on drink d-mannose and take vitamin c. UTI's cause a burning when you pee. You also have an urge to pee but only a trickle comes out. It is important to treat them because the infection can spread to your kidneys.

Attention Ladies, this is Suzi, many people have been writing in asking what the stuff was that I used to clear up my UTI last week, so I wanted to put the link to this stuff here

When bacteria is entered through the urethra. Sometimes sex can cause it from the back and forth motion. Wiping back to front after you urinate can also be the cause. Also have a catheter in could be the case.

It is an infection if the urinary tract from the bladder. Using bubble baths have been linked to UTI's, also, wiping yourself from back to front after having a bowel movement. This brings bacteria that may also cause infections.

It is a bacteria that is inside of you urethra. It causes burning when you urinate. And it also causes you to urinate a little and the urine is cloudy. It has a really bad Oder and it is usually cured with antibiotics. If it is not treated it can lead to a kidney infection. Which is very painful. An alternatives to treat UTI is cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, lots of water.
