Is there anything over the counter that can cure a UTI? Urinary tract infection. I'm so miserable.?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: urinary tract infection cure

I put off going to the doctor yesterday because I wasn't sure that's what it was and it wasn't so bad. Today, it got worse and I bought a UTI tester. Well, it was positive. If you can offer any help, I would greatly appreciate it.

You need antibiotics to cure the infection and a trip to the doc. Drink lots of fluids, lay off of the sodas and do drink d-mannose . Take over the counter Cleartract, it will ease the pain, but will not get rid of the infection. Please take care of it before it goes to your kidneys. Also, a tip for sexually active women, please urinate asap after sex. It prevents cystitis (which is a bladder infection) and clears the urethera of bacteria. Hope you feel better. God Bless.

Drinking cranberry juice or taking cranberry pills will help tremendously. You can also try Bearberry which works as a urinary antiseptic. It fights bacteria and supports the kidneys. Good luck, UTIs are no fun!

Go to your doctor now before it gets worse! You need sulpha drugs or antibiotics; however, cranberry juice will help you heal faster and can help to prevent any further infections.

Lots and lots of cranberry juice. Try the cran-light. Sometimes the full-strength stuff is too syrupy, but it works. You can always dilute it. There are some over the counter cranberry pills too. Ask the pharmacist.

Drink plenty of fluids, as well as cranberry juice (the genuine stuff, which is actually quite bitter; not just cranberry flavour). Also try citrus soda (urine alkalinator) for symptomatic relief.

This is not guaranteed to cure UTI's, but will help.

Take over the counter AZO, it will ease the pain, but will not get rid of the infection. Please take care of it before it goes to your kidneys.
