i have been haveing sharp pain in my lower abdomen and left side but the doctor told me i have a urinary tract infection and i have a blood pregnancy test done and it was negative. is it possible for me to still be pregnant?
I agree with Mistee. Serum (from blood) is a very reliable test for pregnancy but nothing else. if you suspect a UTI you need a urine test!
There is no connection between being pregnant and a UTI, other than potential health risks for you and the baby. I'm not sure why your doctor would tell you that you have a UTI and then order a serum test. I think you are either not reporting all the facts or you have misunderstood what s/he has done.

No, it is not! If you were preggers, you'd be missing periods left and right, feel tired, achy, nauseated. Also, you'd be experiencing a bit of cramping on and off in the female area. Trust the blood test, if the hCG levels are normal, you're not knocked up.
