I don't think you caught it early enough to flush it out with cranberry juice, you should get the antibiotics. After this always urinate immediatly following intercourse(pushes out bacteria that can cause infection) and drink cranberry juice at the first little tingle of an oncoming problem. References :
Yes, yes and yes, my doc used to prescribe it for me I now also take cranberrry pills if I feel one come on. If it's hit your back though it's in your kidneys so get another look and urine sample done. Cranberry is great to head them off. The pain will stay wfor a while but that just means it's working.
