I know it can be caused by a lot of things including kidney failures and I just went to the doctor and it's not kidney failure.
While localized edema can be caused by kidney disease, you already know you're negative for that. There are many causes of edema in the feet. Hypernatremia, excessive standing in one place, tight shoes, some medications, congestive heart failure, cirrhosis, a poor lymphatic system, blah, blah, blah, and the list goes on. Simple, uncomplicated UTIs are not on the list. Avoid excessive standing and elevate your legs whenever possible. And ask your doctor about this. Your doctor is your best source of information and you were just there!

it could be edema which is swelling in the tissues..i would cut back on salt..salt makes you retain water, and drink more fluids…i know this sounds like what you shouldnt do…but water helps flush the excess fluid out of your body
