I've been taking antibiotics for 4-5 days and am wondering how long it takes for all symptoms to go away. The antibiotics are only for 7 days and I was just wondering what I do if I still have pain and discomfort. I just hope to god by the end of 7 days its gone because it is so horrible!
it won't last much longer than 7 days. i've had a UTI, and the antibiotics definitely help, i didn't even have to take it the full 7 days, but i did anyways (and you should definitely do that too). good luck!

Depends on how advanced the infection is. If you see no improvement in a week contact your doc.

You should have already started having relief. Did they do a culture on your urine to find out if you are taking the right antibiotic? Find out if they did, because if your taking the wrong one, you could have serious complications.
