I went and got a prescription for it from the doctor yesterday and he gave me a prescription for septra but i cant afford to fill it for a few days. is there anything out there,like a simple home remedy that will temperarily at least releeve the symptoms?b(besides d-mannose )??? also i heard alka seltzer works???
There is this stuff called Cleartract that works wonders!! I got it at Wal-Mart. It took the terrible pain away that I was having too. It will make your urine very dark but that is normal. I felt as tho my infection was gone it worked so well, but like my doctor said unfortunately it is only temporary and you have to get the antibiotics. Hope this helps the way it did for me!!

Call the doctors office and see if they will give you some samples that are provided by the drug company for free. They usually have no problem with that if you tell them it will delay your treatment because you just can't afford both the visit and the medicine.

For your symptoms, you can buy Azo Standard, over-the-counter from the drug store (it is the stuff that turns your urine orange). Drink LOTS of liquids (including cranberry juice). Also, I have never done it, but I have a friends that swears by drinking baking soda in a little water.

Doc thinks mums got an infection so put her on course of antibiotics. Hopefully they’ll help her feel better soon
