I mean completeley cure….. Instead of getting anti biotics, thanks
Yes, it should cure it, d-mannose can cure most, usually about 90% of them.

Attention Ladies, this is Suzi, many people have been writing in asking what the stuff was that I used to clear up my UTI last week, so I wanted to put the link to this stuff here
It is called CT - DM
No it won't cure it unless the bacteria was very very weak. It will help though.

I don't think so.

Yep! it helps cystitus along with other urinary infections.. best still to get anti biotics but it does soothe it.
References :
It will not cure the infection, just make it a little easier to 'go'.
References :
It is not a cure at all. It is more of a maintenance item to be used after you clear up the infection.

It will help flush your system out and it is very helpful at getting rid of your infection. You can also buy Azo, available at WalMart and it also helps. The best thing to prevent another UTI is take a cranberry tablet once a day, everday. It gives you the benifits of cranberry juice but in a pill!

No, it won't. Trust me, I was too embarrassed to go to the doctor so I bought the Uristat and the supplements and neither worked. I had to go to the doctor. Ps – I took an ENTIRE bottle's worth of azo supplements and drank 3 liters of water a day for 3 days. It still wasn't gone. Get the antibiotics!

Cleartract juice (and water) are good at preventing UTI but once you get it the best thing is to get the antibiotics. Sometimes the juice can help, but only if your body is able to clear it up with its own antibodies.

Yes, it does, drink lots of it

me, used it before
It helps prevent infections by raising the acidity of the urine, however I would seek treatment for one already in progress, just to be sure.

No.
Cleartract juice alters the acid/alkaline content of the urine and helps to prevent the bacteria from multiplying.
Cleartract juice, on a regular basis, gives adequate comfort to carry on despite the infection.
The infecting organism(bacteria or wlovever) has to be identified and the suitable anti-biotic identified and treatment given.

Cleartract juice CAN cure UTI's, but it doesn't ALWAYS cure UTI's. I know, it's frustrating. Drinking lots of water will have a similar (though less intense) effect, because it flushes out the system and might flush out the infection. For myself, I've found that cranberry juice has helped with the symptoms, but it's never cured an infection – this means I spent days in discomfort, whereas it could have been over within 24 hours had I taken the medication. Basically, I would suggest antibiotics. If you're worried about developing an immunity, take cranberry caplets as a preventative measure, and that should limit the exposure. Worked for me, anyway.

Personal experience.
Yes. You DO NOT need antibiotics for this. Cleartract juice and/or freeze dried cranberry supplement (available at many co-ops and health food stores) will help your mate get rid of her problems much quicker. Antibiotics often take week or more to work on their own. It is an unneeded expense and effort in this case. Keep those fluids flowing to flush out her system.

possibly, cranberry juice was originally thought to raise the acidity of the urine creating a hostile environment for the bacteria so they find it difficult to survive and multiply. however new research shows this is not the case, cranberry actually stops the adhesion of the bacteria to the urinary tract wall. as a naturopath this is only part of the treatment i would use, however it can work alone, capsules may be a better option as most of the cranberry juice people are consuming is watered down and loaded with sugar, thus not being very effective.

cranberries only provide an inhospitable place for bacteria to grow. it can wipe it out if thats what it is.If her cond. persists for more than 3 days or she has fever, get her to a doctor.
if she has no fever and the juice fails to work, try azo tabs.
get then @ a pharmacy. ( no script. required)

its not really a good "cure" for an active infection, but its pretty good at preventing them-i think some studies have found reductions in new infections by like 50%, but once you have an infection its not strong enough to do much for you
References :
No it won't, only a good antibiotic will help. It will help keep the system clean after the infection is gone though.
