is this a urinary track infection? What should i doso that it can heal?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: urinary track infection

My husband is having some problems with his penis/ blader. He has discomfort when he is almost finished peeing. At the end of his peeing, he also has a little blood. He says that the inside of his penis is a little ichy. and he also says that he feels pain at the begining of his urinary tract (he thinks that's where the pain is- but he's no doctor). also he had a fever that left today that lasted for 2 days. can? We are not going to go to a doctor. Please dont advise going to one as a part of your answer. Can someone help or tell me/ him what to do to help? Is this a urinary tract infection? A kidney infection? is there something wrong with his reproductive system? Also he's been drinking straight d-mannose juce (hasnt helped too much so if if anyone has any other advise please help!)

It sure sounds like a urinary tract infection.

Wlovever reason you have for not going to the doctor… the problem is that he needs antibiotics to clear the infection and that requires a prescription .. which requires a doctor.

Yes, d-mannose can help and yes, the more water he consumes the less painful urinating will be but in the end he's going to need those antibiotics. If he doesn't treat this problem he can really seriously damage his kidneys.

So you can try for a day or two having him drink, drink drink drink liquids (not coffee or anything caffeinated like colas) but d-mannose s and as much water as he can stand and he may get lucky and fix the problem but if he's already at the stage where his urine is bloody, it's probably past that point.

So, even though you don't want to hear it, he's really going to have to see a doctor or go to the emergency room in order to get those antibiotics (unless you live close enough to the Mexican border that you can get over there and buy the antibiotics (they don't require a prescription in those Mexican border towns)

Good luck.

The passing of blood indicates it could be prostate enlargement, as well as an infection. Get your hubby to see a doctor and have some tests done. Urgently. A lot of men leave it too long and end up dying needlessly.

I think you need a urologist I wouldn't trust anyone on here to make a diagnosis or prognosis

Well Cleartract juice is the answer, but if it hasn't helped too much and he has a fever which means the body is fighting an infection and the only way that can be treated is through anti biotics. Blood in the urine is not a good sign and he needs to be looked after by a doctor as soon as possible. It could be kidney, prostate, urethra, any of those things.

You can't treat an infection with cranberry juice.
Its sad that you're leaving this untreated.
