My cat has recently been recovering from a urinary tract infection. She has been on antibiotics and everything. But the thing is that while she was sick, my vet said it burned her when she would pee, and thats why she stoped peeing in the litterbox. Now, I cant seem to get her to use it again, even though she's better. Anyone have any sugestions?
You should watch your cat and make sure that it is definitely better… you could try moving her litter box to wherever she is urinating.
I had a similar problem with my cat. She had a UTI and after the antibiotics she was still urinating erratically and got sick again. Because her UTI was being caused by crystals in her bladder. The vet put her on a special diet that causes more acid in her urine so that the crystals are broken down and do not form into stones.
