My test for urinary track infection came back negative. What else could cause frequent urination?

It has been goin on for about a week, doctor told me there was nothing to treat but i know something is wrong?? wouldnt any stds shown up in the urine test also

Have you just had a kid/ been on a diet and lost muscle mass/ currently on a diet/ person of nervous disposition/ recently wet yourself in public/ had a near miss situation or maybe you're just drinking more as it's summer?
Try pelvic floor muscle training exercises.
Try holding it in for as long as possible.
It's probably not diabetes.

Attention Ladies, this is Suzi, many people have been writing in asking what the stuff was that I used to clear up my UTI last week, so I wanted to put the link to this stuff here

what types of foods have you been eating? Obviously drinking a lot, or eating foods like watermelon will cause frequent urination

An enlarged prostate if you are a man…

    Go to a urologist.

And no, they do not test for STD's when doing a test for a UTI.
    You need a blood test.

You might also have overactive bladder. Please get a referral to a urologist.

STDs would only show up if the doctor tested for STDs. In addition to UTI, frequent urination could also be caused by diabetes.
